What inspired you to become a therapist?

I have a toddler myself, and I know firsthand how big the transition to parenthood can be. This personal experience allows me to connect with my clients on a deeper level. I am especially passionate about helping people process and heal from difficult or traumatic birth experiences so they can feel like themselves again.

What types of clients do you typically work with?

I support individuals through pregnancy, postpartum changes, birth trauma, infertility, miscarriage, and infant loss. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and more. I also help parents work through identity shifts and the stress of new parenthood.

How would you describe your approach to therapy?

My approach is holistic, warm, and trauma-informed. This means I look at the whole person and help you understand how your nervous system and past attachments affect your feelings today. I integrate emotional processing with practical coping tools and skills-based strategies. I balance deep compassion with gentle honesty to help you build resilience and insight.

What can a client expect from their first session with you?

You can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, seen, and understood. We will move at your pace as we begin to build a genuine, trusting connection. My goal is to create a human-centered environment where your story and your strengths are always honored.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone struggling with their mental health, what would it be?

You deserve to feel well, and you don’t have to carry it all on your own. If you are having a hard time, please know that help is available and you deserve to feel better. Reconnecting with your strengths is the first step toward meaningful change.

What do you hope clients take away from their work with you?

I hope my clients walk away feeling empowered and reconnected to their own selves. I want you to gain a toolbox to manage emotional regulation and feel more in control of your journey. Ultimately, I want you to feel supported as you rediscover joy and balance in your life.

Is there anything else that you'd like to share?

I am bilingual and happy to support clients in both English and Spanish. On a personal note, if I wasn't a therapist, I would be a party planner! I also used to play roller derby, and I have 13 tattoos.
