What inspired you to become a therapist?

I have always felt it is a privilege to support individuals and families. I am passionate about walking alongside people during the perinatal journey. I love helping clients navigate big role changes, the transition of going back to work, and the emotional ups and downs of becoming a parent.

What types of clients do you typically work with?

I specialize in working with women and parents navigating major life transitions. This includes those dealing with pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, infertility, and pregnancy loss. I also work with clients processing birth-related trauma or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety and identity shifts.

How would you describe your approach to therapy?

I am a compassionate, relational therapist. I focus on creating a safe, "grounding" space where you feel seen and understood. My approach is flexible and collaborative. I use practical, evidence-based tools like CBT and mindfulness, but I also pay close attention to your relationships and past experiences. I believe healing happens through connection, curiosity, and being kind to yourself.

What can a client expect from their first session with you?

You can expect a blend of clinical expertise and genuine warmth. I focus on your strengths and what is already working for you, even in a difficult season. We will work together to build practical coping skills and deepen your self-understanding in a way that feels respectful and sensitive to your lived experience.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone struggling with their mental health, what would it be?

Know that you deserve to feel well. Healing is a journey, and you don’t have to do it alone. By using self-compassion and reconnecting with your own inner resources, you can move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

What do you hope clients take away from their work with you?

I hope my clients walk away with a stronger sense of self-trust and emotional resilience. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and move toward a more aligned, fulfilling life.

Is there anything else that you'd like to share?

I was born in Cuba and raised in the U.S., so I am happy to support our community in both English and Spanish.
