Getting started

No. You can schedule a consultation directly. No referral or prescription needed.

A short 15-minute call to understand what you're looking for and answer your questions. No pressure, no commitment.

After your consultation, we confirm which of our therapists is available in your state and accepts your insurance. We'll introduce you to them before your first session so you know who you're working with.

We specialize in perinatal mental health β€” pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, loss, and early parenthood. If that's where you are, we're built for you.

Insurance & cost

BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and others. We verify your benefits before your first session.

We offer self-pay rates. Ask during your consultation.

You may still be able to see us and get partial reimbursement through your PPO's out-of-network benefits using a superbill. See our full out-of-network guide on the insurance page.

Yes. Therapy sessions are FSA and HSA eligible.

Sessions & logistics

All sessions are via secure HIPAA-compliant video. No office visits.

Standard sessions are 55 minutes.

Most clients start weekly, then shift to biweekly as they progress. Your therapist will guide this.

We ask for 24 hours notice. Life with a newborn is unpredictable β€” we're understanding.

About Phoenix Health

Yes. All Phoenix Health therapists hold or are working toward PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification).

This is licensed clinical therapy β€” not coaching or a wellness app. Our therapists are licensed mental health professionals.

No. We provide therapy only. If medication may be appropriate, we can coordinate with your OB or psychiatrist.
