Mental health parity in Georgia
Georgia follows the federal Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA). Insurers regulated under Georgia law must cover mental health benefits at parity with medical benefits — the same copays, deductibles, and visit limits apply to mental health as to comparable medical care.
